**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests and frameworks to validate software functionality, performance, and stability.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop automated tests and frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with products and engineering teams to gather business requirements and identify areas for automation.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of user requirements and define suitable test scenarios for automation.
  • Monitor test automation results, document and communicate identified defects, and prepare comprehensive reports on test progress and quality trends.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary, including test case creation, execution, and defect verification.
  • Engage in code reviews and provide feedback on improving testability and code quality.
  • Analyze business requirements to identify potential areas for implementing QA automation.
  • Participate in agile team processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

**Requirements**

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and independent work ethic.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Proven understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and test execution.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Proven understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts with any OO languages.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Postman, and similar.
  • Understanding of test design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM), Page Factory, and its implementation in test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic commands in a test automation environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, responsible, and a team player.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  • Continuous learning mindset to keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends.

**Nice to Have**

  • Prior experience with streaming media technology is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with debugging tools like Fiddler, Charles Proxy, ADB, Postman, or similar.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Jenkins for continuous integration and test automation.
  • Understanding of REST API for effective test reporting.
