HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to lead a highly skilled, agile development team in the role of Full Stack Engineering Lead.

The successful candidate will guide and oversee a team of 3+ developers to ensure the successful execution of projects and the growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver to production small non-breaking iterative changes that provide business value
  • Help consult on business requirements with specific input around technology capability and limitations
  • Help maintain and improve the stability and reliability of our production environments
  • Work closely with the business in London, New York, and other centers on a day-to-day basis and coordinate with teams to ensure that the business and project needs are met

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Skills/Experience:
  • Repo or Securities Financing experience preferred
  • Proficient in Java microservices development
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/React for UI development
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud platforms
  • Experience in Agile methodology and DevOps tooling such as JIRA, Maven/Gradle
