Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned engineering professional to lead our engineering team in Mexico, responsible for growing and managing the engineering talent that will drive our future success. As a key member of our leadership team, this individual will contribute to business strategy and direction, working closely with our CTO and other senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and hire top talent for the local Mexico team
- Manage a team of mechanical, civil, and electrical engineers designing PV and Storage plants
- Coordinate with existing engineering teams in the United States to build capabilities, tools, standards, and engineering designs
- Support the evaluation of different technologies and integrate them into our design capabilities
- Foster an environment that allows the team to grow and thrive, championing our company values and principles
Requirements
- Principled entrepreneur with a strong track record of leading engineering projects and teams
- Effective communicator with experience working with teams in different locations
- Ability to travel to US engineering sites and periodic visits to construction and built sites
- Familiarity with AutoCAD files and fluent in English
