We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geozone Business Manager PPS to join our team at oilandgas. Key Responsibilities

    • Research and identify opportunities for new and emerging products and new technology.
    • Refine the above strategies within the geozone and support country directors in the execution of the strategy.
    • Support and define product line technology-specific sales targets for the geozone, in collaboration with the geozone sales leader, via budgeting and local market strategy.
    • Work with manufacturing and operations to manage inventory and asset utilization.
    • Provide input signals to the recurring demand planning process.
    • Influence country organization to ensure access to attend training and competency programs to complete necessary career progression requirements.
    • Contribute to and review country bid summary analysis (BSAs) for applicable projects with justification both strategic and financial.
    • Execute the project readiness assessment (PRA) process within the geozone, collaborating with commercial at initiation through to stewarding execution with relevant operations managers.
    • Critically lead and support solutions selling.
    • Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas, such as sales, operations, global product line leaders, and marketing, to develop and provide product definitions, as well as be responsive to customer needs and market opportunities in support of operations managers.
    • Work with global product line and geozone product line managers to ensure full utilization of the workforce and seek opportunities for cross-product line multi-skilling.
    • Share accountability with sales and business development teams for local customer relationships and market share encroachment. Maintain a high profile within the customer community.
    • Communicate and drive technology deployment and technology budget priorities through functional reporting lines from geozone technical sales functions.
  • Communication
    • Serve and maintain effective communications with all key stakeholders, including global product lines, quality, and geozone, as well as external customers.
    • Regularly and clearly communicate the status of annual objectives, challenges to objectives, and improvements to future objectives.
    • Be known as an industry-credible technology and solutions expert.
  • Financial & Performance
    • Actively participate to enhance gross margin.
    • Monitor geozone product line(s) P&L, costs, revenue forecasts, helping to identify and improve product line financial performance and growth.
  • People & Development
    • Lead product line geozone capability and competency development; critically lead and support the development of product line field engineers, operators, and other product line roles.
    • Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the company, including completing all necessary function, compliance, and business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills, and experience.
    • Sponsor the next-generation field engineer program and ensure a suitable pipeline of talent to the geozone.
    • Actively participate in talent development and succession planning for critical roles across the geozone and enterprise level.
