Job Title: HR and Administration Manager

Job Summary:

The HR and Administration Manager is responsible for managing complex ethics, compensation, and employee relations issues. This role requires a collaborative approach, strong written and spoken communication skills, and the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR and administration staff, as applicable.
  • Partner with the HRBP and local Controller to ensure HR and administration policies and practices are aligned with local labor laws and TechnoServe policies.
  • Responsible for all local recruitment processes, including onboarding new staff.
  • Manage safety and security procedures for TNS Mexico, implementing protocols in compliance with TNS policies and procedures and local labor law.
  • Ensure employment contracts are compliant with local laws, with special attention to differentiation between definite and indefinite contracts.
  • Identify and develop a working relationship with local legal counsel.
  • Lead local ethics and conflict-of-interest investigations, under the guidance of the HRBP.
  • Manage the entire performance evaluation process for the TNS/Mexico office.
  • Help interpret HR policies to fit local context.
  • Participate in TechnoServe's HR Community of Practice, providing solutions and lessons learned throughout the organization.
  • Partner with HQ-HR professional development initiatives and programs.
  • Help HRBP evaluate salary data and salary scales and adhere to TechnoServe compensation guidelines.
  • Network with HR Managers in other similar organizations to stay on top of country-specific trends.
  • Responsible for procurement processes, including managing the acquisition process and following up on procedures to ensure compliance with TNS policies and practices.
  • Manage TNS Mexico assets and associated processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 7 years' experience in a relevant field related to Human Resources.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA in HRM preferred.

Required Languages: Spanish/English
