**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled High Speed Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Te Connectivity. As a key member of our manufacturing organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of high-speed manufacturing processes and technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement high-speed manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate with product development engineering, program management, quality assurance, production, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design, develop, and qualify tooling and manual/automate processes for high-speed products to meet Te Connectivity quality and production standards.
  • Document all processes and tooling in applicable Te Connectivity systems.
  • Drive for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods, striving to optimize processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

**Requirements**

  • Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Work experience within functional/sub-functional areas and knowledge across related functions.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to direct a function or multiple sub-functions.
  • Deep knowledge, accountability in the area, and track record of driving operational efficiencies and organizational objectives.
  • Commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Experience with applicable systems (SAP, TLM, CAD, etc.) and familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of industry document specifications like US-CAR & IPC620.
  • Strong understanding of the cable making technology, stamping and plating technology, HSG molding technology, metal and plastic raw material characteristics.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • 3 years of experience in high-speed cable manufacturing.
