Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Equipment Specialist to provide critical support to our production operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring seamless production processes, and driving efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Determine work priorities based on production schedules and collaborate with department supervisors.
  • Provide first-line support for equipment issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Train machine support technicians and provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Identify and address repetitive equipment problems, implementing long-term solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Support New Product Introduction/Prototype runs and drive improvements in line metrics, efficiency, and yield.
  • Measure department performance and implement improvements.
Requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficiency in operating personal computers and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
