Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Knorr-Bremse. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for participating in the internal management reports, balance sheet reviews, internal controls, tax reporting and reconciliation, fixed asset tracking, and other financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly and year-end reporting to management and parent company
- Monthly journal entries for accruals and reversals
- Inter-company reporting and analysis
- Account reconciliations
- Mexico tax reporting, reconciliations, and audits
- Support operations and group finance requests for financial data
- Participate in and coordinate KPMG Audit
- Participate in Physical Inventory
- Implementing actions to correct financial performance
- Fixed asset tracking
- Support creation of annual budgets
- Administrator of the Payroll and Time and Attendance systems
- The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect
- Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members
Requirements:
- Strong accounting experience with 4+ years of experience
- Exposure to SAP or other financial ERP systems preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail focus on error prevention
- Total flexibility showing an ability to work with diverse personalities and support multiple priorities
- Ability to analyze business issues, develop corrective actions and follow through to completion
- Strong Customer focus
- Ability to prioritize multiple daily tasks
- Focus on process improvement
- Bilingual 90%
- Extensive computer skills required
