Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual testing and test automation. You will work closely with our development team to understand project requirements, create test plans, execute test cases, and report any defects or issues found during testing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test objectives and strategies.
  2. Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications and requirements.
  3. Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
  4. Execute test cases, record test results, and document any defects or issues found during testing.
  5. Perform thorough regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and no new issues have been introduced.
  6. Work closely with Developers to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues and provide detailed bug reports.
  7. Identify areas for test automation and collaborate with the automation team to develop automated test scripts.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
  9. Participate in team meetings and provide input on improving testing processes and methodologies.
  10. Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the QA test environment and test data management.
  11. Collaborate with the QA team to continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of experience in Agile and iterative software delivery methodologies.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Proven work experience as a QA Manual Engineer or in a similar role.
  4. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
  5. Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  6. Solid knowledge of defect tracking systems and test management tools.
  7. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
  10. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  12. ISTQB or other relevant certifications would be a plus.
  13. Advanced English is required.
