Main Responsibilities:
Ensure the availability of direct materials for production and shipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the supply management process for procuring direct materials.
Manage assigned suppliers to ensure their performance and the flow of materials from the supplier to the manufacturing unit.
Assign and track non-conformances for delivery and provide input on supplier performance.
Run reports to identify potential supply issues and mitigate them.
Process urgent and critical parts to ensure continuous supply of materials.
Process MRP exception messages and negotiate with suppliers to resolve issues.
Identify trends and lead continuous improvement efforts with suppliers to prevent future supply issues.
Ensure timely payment to suppliers and proper documentation.
Requirements:
Knowledge of unit processes and operations.
Understanding of the Order Fulfillment Process.
Education:
Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
