Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
* Update payroll data changes in the payroll system
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
* Ensure that documents received are properly completed and authorized prior to processing
* Review payroll reports prior to the live production of the payroll
* Reconcile data errors and communicates/ records corrective action
* Process payroll related activities such as deposits to employees' bank accounts, payroll banking issues, etc.
* Respond to external inquiries from government agencies, banks, etc.
* Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll
* Assist with balancing year end payroll filings and year end reports according to Federal, State and Local legislation and deadlines (i.e. W-2s)
* Assist with projects and assignments as required
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in a payroll role within a national organization
* Advanced level of English degree in a related field (Office Administration, Accounting, Payroll) is preferred
* In-depth knowledge of the GlobalView (ADP) SAP based payroll system
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
* Solid understanding of Payroll Administration and Human Resources practices and procedures
* Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
