About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Global Delivery Services team in the People Consulting practice. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading large and complex learning projects, managing teams, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Provide comprehensive oversight for SAP/SI engagements, manage/mitigate escalations, and stay aligned with engagement leadership vision and engagement objectives.
  2. Business Development: Own GDS penetration and sector centric activities across areas.
  3. Learning Strategy: Lead development and execution of comprehensive learning and development strategies that align with the engagement goals and enhance end user skills and performance.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Partner with key stakeholders to identify training needs, designing and implementing effective learning solutions.
  5. Operational Efficiency: Ensure that engagements are delivered in a cost-effective and scalable manner.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of learning consultants/senior consultants/assistant managers/managers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  7. Professional Growth: Encourage professional growth within the team, providing opportunities for skills development and career advancement.
  8. Expertise Development: Establish instructional design expertise within the practice, grow and lead a team of instructional design specialists in the SAP/SI domain.
  9. Sales and Marketing: Liaison with regional stakeholders for selling work in the instructional design space to build project pipeline.
  10. Capability Building: Identify and build new SAP/SI capabilities in the team based on trends in the various market regions.
  11. Technology Adoption: Lead SAP/SI instructional design efforts using the most advanced technologies and digital solutions in the market.
  12. Quality Assurance: Ensure high quality SAP/SI deliverables are produced for the project by exhaustive internal reviews and obtain excellent feedback from the client and global project counterparts.
  13. Risk Management: Ensure high operational efficiency by managing engagement risks and escalations, project economics, and ensuring effective planning and budgeting.
  14. Subject Matter Expertise: Provide advice and guidance as a subject matter expert and work effectively as part of a large, distributed program team.
  15. Process Improvement: Contribute to process re-engineering and help bring in efficiencies across GDS PC through automation.
  16. Talent Management: Drive talent/performance management and perform the role of counsellor and coach, define and set goals, and conduct performance reviews.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's or associate degree with 14-18 years of hands on experience in implementing and leading large and complex learning projects.
  2. SAP Expertise: Proven experience and knowledge of SAP systems, modules, and functions, such as SAP FI, SAP HR, SAP MM, S4/HANA etc.
  3. Learning and Development: Proven track record of developing and implementing successful learning and development programs.
  4. Instructional Design: Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
  5. Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proposal and Estimation: Ability to lead proposals/pursuits and provide oversight of learning solutions and estimations.
  7. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  8. Learning Technologies: Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies will be a plus.
  9. ERP Systems: Knowledge of multiple ERP systems, such as Oracle, Workday etc. is a plus.
  10. Language Skills: Effective writing skills (grasp and command over English).
  11. Software Skills: Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
  12. Team Management: Experience in managing large teams as well as multiple concurrent digital learning engagements.
  13. Course Authoring: Proficiency with one or more course authoring and learning tools: SAP Enable Now, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, WalkMe, Camtasia, Vyond, VideoScribe.
  14. Assessment and Evaluation: Ability to review learning deliverables developed by others.
  15. Cross Industry Exposure: Excellent knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods and learning experience platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Adaptability: Flexibility in and comfort with learning and applying new software and work processes.
  2. e-Learning Development: Experience in ensuring e-learning materials and course materials are developed under a strict change control with thorough testing before release to the live environment.
  3. Gamification: Experience using gamification within the design and development of online content, to create a more immersive experience for the end user.
  4. Design Documents: Ability to create design documents and design guides.
  5. Media Experience: Experience working with all kinds of media.
  6. Data-Driven Approach: Experience with a data-driven approach to instructional design, using both qualitative and quantitative data to optimize content efficacy.
  7. Project Management: Proven project management experience to take digital learning from concept to delivery.
  8. Website Design and Video Technology: Familiarity with website design, video technology, and editing.
