As a Steam Turbine Sales Specialist at Siemens Energy, you will work closely with regional business leaders, engineering, procurement, and technical services to develop customer quotes for Steam Turbine parts and services. With our large OEM fleet, including Westinghouse, Alis Chalmers, KWU-Siemens, and others, you will have the opportunity to learn and innovate to provide solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales quotes for parts and services associated with new product and service bulletins
- Seek out new, innovative ways of manufacturing/procuring to maintain our high-quality standards and reduce lead times
- Participate in forecasting and strategic planning of parts and raw materials
- Evaluate new vendors and work to develop new business solutions to help ease supply chain concerns
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher in engineering or related technical field preferred
- Proficient in technical writing for proposals, specifications
- Basic knowledge in drawing reading with dimensioning, tolerancing, material specifications and bills of materials
- Must speak English fluently
- Salesforce knowledge a plus
- Customer First approach
- Drive to succeed
- Taking ownership of your personal development and growth goals
- Experience with Steam Turbines and working with customers is highly valued
- Microsoft Suite product knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
