Job Title: Corporate Finance Manager

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Finance & Strategy team, you will play a critical role in informing and guiding critical C-level decisions through insightful analyses and thought partnership.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the forecasting, reporting, and analysis process for expense consolidation during monthly close/forecast, quarterly forecast, annual planning, and long-range plans.
  2. Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly KPI scorecards by collaborating with data owners and ensuring timeliness and accuracy of data.
  3. Coordinate across Finance & Strategy teams to review and influence key personnel and program expense and headcount assumptions driving our budgets, forecasts, and other predictors of future results.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (accounting, treasury, and the wider Finance & Strategy team).
  5. Assist in preparation of reports and decks to the C/E-staff and the Board.
  6. Identify process improvements to optimize financial systems, improve forecast accuracy, create tools, and improve operating processes.
  7. Support hand-off of processes to our Finance center of excellence.
  8. Tackle new and evolving priorities for the team, including ad hoc analyses.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  2. 7+ years of relevant Financial Modeling or FP&A/F&S experience.
  3. Expertise with MS Excel required.
  4. Highly adept in Excel and G-Suite (Google Sheets, Slides).
  5. Working knowledge of SQL, NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive, or other planning tools a plus.
  6. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data issues/needs quickly.
  7. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate complex analytics, goals, and recommendations.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
  9. Strong EQ, experience partnering across matrixed organizations, and an appreciation for building deep business partnerships.
  10. Positive attitude with an analytical mindset and desire to learn new things quickly.
  11. Team player eager to further develop and grow with us.
