Marriott International, Inc is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to join their team at Solaz a Luxury Collection Resort Los Cabos. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related work experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting staff with problem payments, expediting check-ins, and processing various payment types. Additionally, they will need to set up accurate accounts for each guest, anticipate sold-out situations, and coordinate with other departments as necessary.
Responsibilities- Assist staff with expediting problem payments, including credit card issues
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys
- Process various payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit
- Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in
- Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain alternative accommodations when necessary
- Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- No license or certification required
The successful candidate will be expected to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period, move objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Estimated Salary Range$45,000 - $65,000 per annum based on location and experience.
