Overview of Role:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Solutions Developer to join our team at Johnson Controls. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across HR teams, identifying automation opportunities, and proposing & creating desktop automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify technical solutions that meet emerging needs and improve process efficiency from an automation perspective.
- Implement and maintain applications/developments, including configuration, updates, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Collaborate with process owners, supervisors, managers, and key stakeholders to understand improvement opportunities and support the transformation of high-quality process execution throughout the HR organization.
- Act as a change agent to improve existing processes, working closely with CI Champions to leverage their knowledge and expertise.
- Maintain an up-to-date global CI tracker, avoiding duplication of items and ensuring accuracy in report outs.
- Contribute new suggestions and ideas through team interactions, feedback, and process reviews.
- Support core CI team activities, taking an interest in training, quality audits, and presenting demos and status updates.
- Promote regular contact and interactions with regional counterparts to strengthen skills and support automation progression.
- Support global projects as required while maintaining steady progress in automation delivery within the region.
- Engage actively with the global CI team to ensure standardization and alignment of 'ways of working' while supporting a 'one team' mindset.
Requirements:
- Experience using MS Office 365 process automation tools Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI).
- Desired knowledge of automation software (UIPath, BluePrism, etc).
- Able to handle large amounts of data in Excel or other database programs.
- High analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Desired experience in Continuous Improvement/Lean Initiatives.
- High English proficiency (written and spoken), capable of delivering presentations in English.
- Ongoing oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and develop successful partnerships with customers and peers.
- Detail-oriented.
- High customer service orientation.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
