About the Role:

This position is responsible for assessing the security posture of both third-party and internally developed applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of remediation techniques and be able to provide guidance on how to resolve vulnerability findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the risk of third-party applications and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Develop and implement advanced assessment techniques to evaluate the risk posture of various applications.
  • Collaborate with developers to educate them on security best practices and provide coaching/training as needed.
  • Work with the application security team to develop the strategy and direction of the team and optimize service offerings.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience assessing the risk of third-party applications.
  • Knowledgeable in advanced assessment techniques to evaluate the risk posture of various applications.
  • Experience explaining technical terms to non-technical business partners.
