Job Summary

As a Financial Analyst at Adient, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our customers. Your responsibilities will include collecting invoices, resolving disputes, and communicating with customers to resolve outstanding positions. You will also be responsible for preparing reports, forecasts, and quality checking self-bill invoice issues. Additionally, you will manage activities related to special customers, including communication, investigation, analysis, and corrections.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect invoices from customer portfolio and resolve/analyze dispute items
• Communicate and resolve aged unpaid items in customer accounts
• Communicate and resolve debit/credit (dispute) balances in customer accounts
• Develop a professional, trustful relationship with customers and plants to resolve outstanding positions
• Prepare reports related to team responsibilities (Aged items, Dispute balances, forecast, outstanding & risk items)
• Prepare customer forecasts and explain deviations from established amounts
• Quality check and release self-bill invoice issues (communicate and resolve issues with plants or billing teams)
• Request postings and corrections of self-billing and retrobills, including investigation and communication regarding discrepancies
• Manage activities related to special customers (communication, investigation, analysis, corrections)

Requirements

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should have a strong understanding of financial concepts and be able to interpret data to inform business decisions. Additionally, you should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
