About the Role

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Installation and Evaluation: Install new equipment and evaluate its functionality to ensure it meets our operational requirements.
  2. Technician Development and Training: Develop and implement training programs for our maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  3. Process Improvement: Develop procedures, manuals, and documents to describe and improve our maintenance processes.
  4. Maintenance Reporting and Metrics: Prepare daily and weekly maintenance reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure we meet our operational goals.
  5. Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with our suppliers to obtain support for equipment repair and maintenance.
  6. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement tactical and long-term strategies aligned with our business objectives to ensure we meet and exceed our goals.
  7. Team Leadership: Lead and manage our maintenance engineers to ensure high equipment availability and minimize downtime.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance our maintenance operations.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience: 6 years of experience in maintenance operations, with a focus on equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others. Experience with automation, control systems, and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  4. Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken), with a strong understanding of technical terminology.
  5. Travel: Valid US visa required for travel.
Technical Competencies
  1. Computer Equipment and Systems Management: Experience with managing computer equipment and systems, including automation and control systems.
  2. Automation and Control Systems: Knowledge of automation and control systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and electromechanical elements.
  3. Teamwork: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Statistical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
