Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate a seamless and prompt customs processing workflow.
  • Maintain precise and timely data entry within our operational platform.
  • Monitor and report on customs files through tracking and tracing.
  • Guarantee accurate and timely invoicing for clients.
  • Comprehend all aspects of the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedure and accurately interpret this information to meet our customers' requirements and expectations.
  • Transfer customs declaration details from documents or other sources into the customs entry system to create a valid customs declaration.
  • Assist in verifying customs declaration details and submitting them to the customs authority.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of customs brokerage processes and customs legislation, particularly concerning classification, valuation, and origin.
  • Familiarity with border brokerage documentation procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive mindset, along with strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word).
  • Bachelor’s or Technical Degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in English.

Reporting Hierarchy

  • Reports to Customs Brokerage Lead Agent, Supervisor, and Manager.
