We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Leader Bodyshop to join our team at General Motors. As a key member of our maintenance group, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance employees and overseeing the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct regular checks and tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly and communicate evaluation results to the team.
  • Recommend solutions to problems and implement preventative maintenance to prevent equipment malfunctions.
  • Meet schedule and quality requirements, and comply with local and national labor agreements.
  • Implement divisional and corporate policies, safety practices, and good housekeeping practices.
  • Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with other teams outside of the work group.
  • Effectively use personnel, material, and equipment to achieve goals.
  • Establish a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project, and implement GMS principles.

**Requirements:**

  • English language proficiency at an intermediate level.
  • Knowledge of welding and PLC systems.
  • Preferred: Mechatronic knowledge.
