OMRON is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. As an Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information in a shared services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the month-end close and reporting process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
- Review ledger accounts, recommend, and prepare adjusting journal entries to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare, record, and analyze accounting transactions to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with internal control evaluations to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Participate in the documentation and execution of accounting projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Support various operational activities, audit deliverables, ad hoc projects, or analyses as requested.
- Interact daily with accounting team members and internal customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent education.
- Typically, 2-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and working with ERP, Accounting, and Reporting software; experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounting Software and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound financial decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and internal customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
