Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Manager to join our team at Adient. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business excellence and operational efficiency across our manufacturing plants.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement best business practices across our manufacturing plants, ensuring standardization and consistency in our operations.
  • Analyze and improve our business metrics, working closely with our leadership team to develop and execute strategies for improvement.
  • Assess and develop future-state visions for our manufacturing value streams, driving implementation plans and monitoring progress.
  • Establish and drive profit plans and forecast goals, collaborating with our leadership team to achieve breakthrough performance.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement roadmaps for our manufacturing plants, driving external customer-focused effectiveness and internal efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership, training, and coaching to our team members, including MBBs, CI Managers, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belts.
  • Develop and evolve Six Sigma, Lean, and KT training materials, classes, workshops, tools, and methods in collaboration with our process owners and leadership team.
  • Drive and sustain performance improvement in our manufacturing system, supporting the development of plant long-term gap closure roadmaps and overseeing plan and forecast CI targets and assumptions.
  • Assess and support the implementation of manufacturing practices, coaching and training plant managers and principal champions to achieve operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with our leadership team, plant managers, SMEs, and principal champions to ensure manufacturing system gap closure targets.
