We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Operations Associate II to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth processing of payments to investigative sites.
About the Job:The Payment Operations Associate II is responsible for providing administrative, reporting, contractual, and financial support to the department related to the processing of payments. Key responsibilities include data compilation, issue/risk resolution, and ensuring adherence to contractual guidelines and country regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Compilation: Compile data from multiple sources to generate payments to sites in accordance with procedural documents and site contracts.
- Adherence to Regulations: Ensure adherence to country-specific regulations that affect and impact the ability to pay.
- Payment Management: Manage payment responsibilities and workflow to meet contracted timelines and project deliverables.
- Relationship Building: Build and manage relationships with study sites and interface with clients on occasion for payment-specific issues.
- Escalation and Resolution: Respond to study-related escalations and resolve payment-related findings.
- Risk Escalation: Escalate project risks appropriately.
- Training and Support: Train study teams on site payment processes, including setting expectations around site payments' requirements and deliverables.
- Financial Transactions: May process investigator payments in middleware and financial systems; manage refunds, credit notes, late payment fees, pre-payments, or investigator meeting reimbursements.
This role involves working on semi-routine assignments but requires occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Requirements and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need to apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. You will typically follow established procedures on routine work, requiring instructions only on new assignments.
You will have regular contacts with individuals within your department and occasionally with contacts outside your organization. These contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation.
Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
