Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience

Job Description: As a Travel Counselor II - MTS, you'll lead domestic and international travel experiences for our Premium Card Members, ensuring exceptional service and outcomes that align with the American Express brand. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delighting Card Members with unforgettable travel experiences by supporting bookings and servicing existing arrangements
  • Performing administrative tasks like charges, refunds, and amendments for land and air products
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of bookings fulfillment in each reservation
  • Following up with vendors and maintaining strong communications
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly productivity and quality goals

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need advanced experience with GDS systems (e.g., SABRE, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus) and a Bachelor's or Technical Degree in Tourism or a related field. Additionally, you'll possess:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to provide premium customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Natural communication skills, active listening, and adaptability to suit conversation styles
  • Organizational skills to follow up with customers and complete administrative tasks
  • The ability to detect opportunities and propose innovative solutions to problems or improve processes
  • Personal determination, optimism, resilience, and stress tolerance
  • Understanding and accountability for call center metrics like call handling time, productivity, customer satisfaction, and compliance
