Team Overview:

Labor and Regulatory Expert

This role will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to DiDi Mexico's team, particularly in labor, tax, and regulatory matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating litigation solutions on various topics, including consumer protection, labor, tax, and administrative issues.

The position will also involve providing and coordinating legal advice on labor and employment for business lines, working closely with local leaders and teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact and provide sound legal advice on complex litigation, labor, tax, and regulatory matters affecting ride-hailing, delivery, and financial services.
  • Work in collaboration with Government Affairs teams to influence and shape the legal framework applicable to DiDi's business lines.
  • Coordinate, track, and manage claims in collaboration with internal stakeholders, supervising outside counsels and other legal providers.
  • Collaborate with the Latam Legal team and DiDi's Legal HQ team to identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of legal experience, strong background in labor and/or tax matters.
  • Sound business and legal judgment.
  • Entrepreneurial profile and mindset: flexibility, resilience, self-motivation, self-starting, hard-working, innovative thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and work collaboratively with high-performance teams and different leaders.
  • Strong communication skills.
