  • Dispatch pick-ups requested by customers in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Prepare shipment paperwork (export/import/customs) for routing, send documents to appropriate parties, and close out files as needed, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide quotations to both internal and external customers, maintaining profit margins while delivering exceptional value.
  • Fulfill agent requests in a timely manner, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Assist the Supervisor and Manager with special projects as needed, contributing to the growth and development of our operations team.
  • Assist other employees in the department as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure that the AES system is up to date and accurate, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and quality.
  • Maintain positive relationships with carriers, sales agents, and customers, building trust and loyalty through exceptional service and support.

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred but not required, with a strong foundation in logistics, operations, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Accurate typing/data entry skills, with proficiency in computer software and systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1-year experience in Airfreight or Logistics.
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
