About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of end-to-end Talent Acquisition services for Novartis' International Latin America and Canada Region. As a seasoned talent acquisition professional, you will drive operational excellence throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and adherence to key success metrics.

You will report directly to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, International, and work closely with them to design and execute the Talent Acquisition strategy for Japan. Your team will be responsible for developing and executing our Talent Acquisition strategy in International Latin America, attracting and acquiring top talent from diverse backgrounds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Talent Acquisition Business Partners who will develop and execute our Talent Acquisition strategy in International Latin America.
  • Oversight of capacity planning, performance, and capability building of your team.
  • Developing engaging relationships with hiring managers across all levels, providing coaching and training on the end-to-end hiring funnel.
  • Developing a data-driven approach to optimize efficiency, inform decision-making, and enable proactive strategic workforce planning.
  • Collaborating with International Recruitment Marketing to develop a recruitment marketing strategy for the region, focusing on key markets.
  • Driving talent assessment processes to ensure high-quality hires.
  • Sharing market and competitive intelligence to inform talent, business, and organizational design decisions with Business & P&O colleagues.
  • Maintaining knowledge of innovative recruitment tools, technologies, and best practices, utilizing specific sourcing tools and capabilities required for talent acquisition.
  • Providing feedback to your team on their performance, working with them to ensure they reach their growth potential.
  • Supporting business-critical roles hiring and proactive pipelining.
  • Representing Talent Acquisition at P&O Boards meetings at a Regional/Country Level.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in recruitment, either in an agency or in-house talent acquisition.
  • A minimum of 3+ years recent experience leading a talent acquisition team, preferably with expertise in hiring for full functions.
  • Exceptional assessment and interviewing skills, with a strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments, and processes.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with Senior Leaders on key goals and partner with P&O peers to deliver a talent agenda.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor remote and diverse teams.
  • Ability to drive a targeted DEI hiring agenda across a complex ecosystem.
  • Expertise and understanding of the latest hiring trends in the region and key markets, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry or relevant ecosystem.
  • Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal), influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to extract and interpret data from internal and external sources.
  • Strong project management and critical thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate a complex and ambiguous environment.
