Job Summary

The Product Marketing Specialist will work closely with clients, prospects, market influencers, target market segments, and internal team members to gather and synthesize information around market-wide problems, end-user use cases, and the related financial impact for company's end users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the LATAM region.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the target market segments, including their economic, business, and end-user drivers.
  • Value Proposition Development
    • Work with the product team to develop and clarify the company's value proposition.
    • Develop key End User and Buyer Personas and Buyer Journeys.
  • Marketing Messaging and Communications
    • Develop and maintain key marketing messaging platforms that are aligned with the market.
    • Communicate key market information and insights throughout the company's organization.
  • Sales Tools and Enablement
    • Develop sales tools and enablement materials that effectively communicate the value and benefits of the company's products.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 3-4 years of directly related experience in a similar stage company with an emphasis on a market-driven approach.
  • Skills
    • Hands-on experience with a formal Product Marketing methodology such as Pragmatic Marketing.
    • Experience evaluating market needs through primary and secondary research to identify and document quantifiable problems and opportunities.
    • Hands-on experience developing user personas and buyer journeys that provably drive deeper understanding of the client's needs throughout the organization.
    • Demonstrated successes documenting, communicating, and creating alignment around a unique value proposition.
    • Proven ability to structure and communicate products effectively to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
