Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Grundfos. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Process Improvement: Establish in-process controls to ensure ongoing compliance with customer and process specifications and requirements.
- Measurement and Test Equipment: Participate in the definition of measurement and test equipment for new projects.
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor and report quality indicators for each process.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement quality tools to ensure continuous improvement of processes and product.
- Problem-Solving: Identify, solve, and document quality problems in a timely manner to avoid recurrence.
- Auditing and Compliance: Perform layered (LPA) and process audits, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams focused on improving quality indicators.
- Culture and Customer Focus: Promote a quality culture with a customer focus at all levels.
- Customer Complaints: Effectively support customer complaints and establish, maintain, and standardize visual acceptance criteria and rejection in production areas and with customers.
- Certification and Compliance: Ensure compliance to certification requirements, such as UL, CSA, IAPMO, etc. (if applicable).
- IMS and VPC: Monitor, implement, and maintain IMS processes and actively participate in VPC.
- Corrective and Preventive Actions: Establish corrective and preventive actions when required and ensure proper handling of non-conforming product.
- Training and Development: Conduct continuous quality training of operators and develop and improve FMEA and Control Plans.
- Preventive Actions: Establish preventive actions focused on quality and participate and collaborate in health, safety, and environmental objectives, programs, and procedures.
- QRQC and STOP Scrap: Follow up, train, and coach in QRQC at line and APU level and be a facilitator of the same. Facilitate STOP Scrap activities to reduce waste.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the metal-mechanical industry.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of core tools including PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and DOE. Proficiency in problem-solving tools such as 8D's, A3, QRQC, FTA, and more. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Experience with ISO 9001 or IATF:16949 Internal Auditor. Competency in Microsoft Office and blueprint interpretation.
- Language Skills: Advanced written and spoken English skills.
