**Job Title:** Product Innovation Manager

**Salary:** Estimated $120,000 - $180,000 per year

**Job Description:

As a Product Innovation Manager at Birdman, you will play a pivotal role in driving the ideation, development, and launch of innovative supplements and food products. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the end-to-end product development process, overseeing market research, technical and functional development, regulatory compliance, and process launch. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape our product portfolio, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and nutrition.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Lead the end-to-end product development process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  2. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and consumer needs, driving innovative product concepts.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop product specifications and formulations that meet quality standards and align with customer expectations.
  4. Lead the technical aspect of product development, optimizing nutrition, functionality, shelf-life, and organoleptic properties.
  5. Conduct organoleptic testing and sensory evaluations to enhance product taste, texture, and overall consumer experience.
  6. Drive proprietary ingredient innovation projects, either in-house or through partnerships, to secure best-in-class ingredients for Birdman.
  7. Lead the regulatory function, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations for all products.

**Requirements:

**Basic Requirements**

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field (e.g., nutritional science, food science, biotechnology) is required; a master's or Ph.D. degree is preferred.
  2. At least 5 years experience in research and development as a manager within the supplements, nutrition, or related industries, focusing on new product development.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the supplements industry, including FDA guidelines and labeling regulations.
  4. Experience in conducting organoleptic testing and sensory evaluations to optimize product attributes.
  5. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  6. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
