This role requires a professional and administrative support services expert to work with the U.S. Foreign Assistance Program to Mexico.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and advice to implement community police programs.
- Develop and maintain contact with Mexican government and non-governmental organizations, as well as U.S. governmental organizations.
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of community policing programs.
- Assist in the development of comprehensive training programs for Mexican law enforcement agencies.
- Provide expertise and training to Mexican law enforcement agency personnel.
- Develop training programs to enhance citizen security and community safety.
- U.S. Citizen
- Spanish FSI level 3/3
- English FSI level 4/4
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Public Policy, Social Science, or related field
- 10 years of total experience as a law enforcement professional, with 5 years of direct hands-on experience in law enforcement training and 4 years of experience in management roles
- 5 years of experience conducting research and managing community police projects
- Ability to pass a U.S. Embassy RSO security background check
- Familiarity with U.S. Government acquisition contracting management regulations
- Ability to deal effectively with senior U.S. and Mexican officials
- Experience in drafting and authoring reports
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
