Job Description

The Global ERP Project Manager Lead will be responsible for leading ERP projects from conception to implementation. This includes working closely with country teams, regional teams, and functional teams to ensure that ERP solutions align with SGS goals and integrate seamlessly with our existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional Business teams, including IT, HR, Finance, Operations, regionally and at country level, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the ERP system and all related modules.
  • Lead and mentor project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and ensure ongoing engagement.
  • Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members.
  • Develop and deliver budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Create a program management framework that can be adopted to ensure that the program objectives are met.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan for and mitigate risks that can affect the project timeline and deliverables.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
  • Implement project standards across projects to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
  • Desirable PMP certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale global ERP implementation projects.
  • Software life cycle and enterprise software knowledge.
  • Strong analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment.
  • Experience in ERP implementation principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in change management and business coordination.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as Smartsheet, JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

Additional Requirements

You must be available to relocate to Colombia and have advanced proficiency in English, with Portuguese being a plus.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
