Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Specialist to join our team at ZF Group. As a key member of our Global Trade Compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations and procedures, as well as managing import and export documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customs clearance processes for imports and exports, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and review customs documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Collaborate with external customs agents and trade partners to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and procedures.
- Develop and implement processes to improve customs compliance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector.
- Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, International Relations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, including Annex 24.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
