About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Big Data Engineer to join our Analytics Tooling team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop large-scale data systems that support business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Work with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data pipelines and transformations
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reporting tools
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all systems
- 5+ years of experience in big data engineering
- Strong background in Java or Python
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React/Vue.js
- History of leading projects independently at scale
- Excellent interpersonal skills and passionate about collaborating across organizational boundaries
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
- Experience with LLM and prompt engineering
- Experience working with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, Databricks)
- Experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, MixPanel, or BI Tools such as Tableau, Mode, Thoughtspot, Metabase, etc.
