We are seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager to lead our IT procurement efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-value procurement solutions to the business, supporting third-party vendor selection, vendor development, technology management, and performance measurement activities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with Novartis' overall strategy, ensuring best-in-class delivery of external services and products in the Data, Digital & IT Software Category.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-effective ways to deliver business objectives, creating and reviewing major contracts for the category.
- Lead project management and stakeholder management efforts, utilizing software and tools to plan, track, and report status.
Requirements:
- University/Advanced degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- 12-15 years of relevant subject experience in IT-related procurement, with strong project management and leadership experience.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to convey messages clearly and convincingly.
