About the Role

As a Senior HR Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's business objectives by providing strategic HR leadership and direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, improve relations, and provide employee support.
  • Implement and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with company and government regulations.
  • Provide mediation, counseling, and facilitation services to resolve disputes between employees and their supervisors and managers.
  • Educate and train supervisors and employees on policies, processes, and guidelines in alignment with the regional HR strategy.
  • Manage employee transactions, including hiring, terminations, discipline, and performance management.
  • Drive the Performance Management and Talent Development process to ensure the company's talent pipeline is aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and update employee data and HR systems, and complete necessary metrics and reporting.
  • Prepare and process various reports to ensure compliance with company and government regulations.
  • Support the administration of benefits programs, including health, life, employee assistance, pension plans, and retiree benefits.
  • Administer the Family Medical Leave Act in accordance with federal law.
  • Support the deployment of safety programs and administer Workers Compensation claims.
  • Communicate and track corporate compliance programs.
  • Perform special projects and assignments as required.
  • Proactively seek to understand business needs and propose proactive solutions for resolution and to drive continuous improvement.
  • Counsel and advise site and functional business leaders on matters related to Talent Management, Succession Planning, Training and Development, Feedback and Coaching, Employee Relations matters, and Promotion decisions.
  • Shape and manage Employee Engagement initiatives, Communication plans, and culture boosting activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English and fluent English language skills.
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated success in leading the HR function across multiple locations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Mexico local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Experience coaching, leading, and developing others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • General knowledge of employment law.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to partner with subordinates, peers, and leadership across all functions and externally.
  • Ability to follow the company's safety, ethics, sexual harassment, discrimination, and general employee policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities.
Additional Requirements
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and employee benefit compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.
  • Ability to clearly present ideas and reports in written and verbal format.
  • Ability to work well with subordinates, peers, and superiors in all departments of the Company.
  • Ability to work well with external contacts of the Company.
  • Good time management, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Adherence to all Company policies.
