Software Category Manager Job Description

At NTT DATA, we're committed to building a talented team that drives our company's growth and success. As a Software Category Manager, you'll play a critical role in serving as the primary liaison with global suppliers and business unit stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage high-risk, complex, and high-spend categories within and across global business units.
  • Provide governance direction to contract administrators, procurement and sourcing specialists, and other supply personnel.
  • Define and implement category and supplier risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement a category plan that defines the strategy for effectively managing the category of spend to meet business unit and NTT DATA goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or supply chain or other related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
  • Demonstrated project and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated command of Category(ies) and supply management practices and concepts.
  • Ability to meet and exceed customer requirements while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
