Job Title: Missionary Science Educator

Global Education Ministries (GEM) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Missionary Science Educator to join our team at the Manantial School in Puerto Escondido, Mexico.

About the Role

As a Missionary Science Educator, you will have the opportunity to create and maintain a positive learning environment within the classroom, supporting each student academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. You will also have the chance to leverage your life in a meaningful way, serving the Lord while pouring out your life for the purpose of planting seeds of the gospel in the hearts of your students and committing to excellence in the classroom.

Responsibilities
  • Commit to daily following Christ
  • Actively weave the gospel in instruction
  • Saturate all interactions with students and their families in the truth of the gospel
  • Plan, prepare, and teach Science classes using best practices
  • Assist the school administration in accomplishing the academic and spiritual goals of the school
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community
  • As a missionary, there will be expectations to assist in recruiting, fundraising, creating policy, and being an ambassador for GEM
Qualifications
  • A true, genuine faith in Jesus Christ
  • Degree in Secondary Education and Science, or related degree
  • Eligibility to work in the US
  • An outgoing and adventurous personality, ready to pursue others for the sake of the gospel
  • Flexibility of schedule
  • Willingness to relocate to Mexico for the duration of the contract
  • Willingness to fundraise for the ministry
What We Offer

As a Missionary Science Educator with GEM, you will have the opportunity to serve the Lord while making a meaningful impact in the lives of your students. You will also have access to fundraising training and support to help you achieve your goals.

Please note that this is a missions position that requires fundraising. The starting fundraising goal is $18,000 per year, and the starting gross salary annually is $13,200 (USD). Our team will provide fundraising training before fundraising begins.
