Occupational Therapist Assistant

At Creative Solutions In Healthcare, Inc., we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Alvarado Meadows Nursing & Rehab. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to provide high-quality care to our residents while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

We have an amazing opportunity for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver person-centered care to our residents through skilled occupational therapy services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and administering treatment to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities, promoting healing, and enhancing functional abilities.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant will respond to requests for service, relay information, and refer to Occupational Therapists as needed. Additionally, the candidate will assure that all treatment is delivered in accordance with established plans of care, provide clinical support, and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.

The successful candidate will also monitor patient response to treatment intervention, complete required forms and documentation, and attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage patients with different personalities are essential for this role.

• Active/Valid Texas license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
