**Job Summary**
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing all vendor and supplier payments via online electronic banking. This role requires extensive interaction with external vendors, service providers, and purchasing and operational departments throughout the company.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process and verify vendor and supplier invoices
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payments and transactions
- Coordinate with purchasing and operational departments to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Request and verify statements from vendors and suppliers
- Perform manual entry into SAP and other accounting systems
- Assist with special projects and tasks as needed by the Accounts Payable team
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable function, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and Excel skills
- Experience with ERP AP module, preferably SAP and AS400
