The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Counsel to join our LAC division. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing practical and proactive legal guidance to our business partners in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support commercial operations in the LAC division, including drafting, structuring, and negotiating commercial agreements for traditional hardware sales, software licensing, and services offerings.
- Provide legal advice on procurement, IT, outsourcing, litigation, employment, compliance, and other legal issues as they arise.
- Assist with the establishment of standards, procedures, and protocols based on best practices.
- Drive business deals to completion by monitoring resolution and closure of issues.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of outside legal counsel as needed.
- Support other corporate, commercial, legal, and compliance projects as needed.
Requirements
- Active bar membership.
- At least 4-7 years' experience in the practice of law, with a focus on transactional corporate and commercial matters.
- Native or business-fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus.
