The Operations Change Leader plays a pivotal role within the Leadership Team of the Fulfillment Center, spearheading and facilitating site performance and network initiatives.

This leader actively oversees a team of training specialists and Quality Managers, ensuring that their efforts align with the needs of internal customers.

By collaborating with operations, support teams, Senior Leadership, and external partners, the Operations Change Leader drives significant improvements in key business metrics, including safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include owning the Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) processes within the fulfillment center and managing the daily operations of the learning organization. This encompasses associate and manager onboarding, training, and adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and compliance training is maintained, achieving or surpassing targeted safety metrics.
  • Manage departmental performance to established Benchmark standards, conducting audits and implementing actions for continuous improvement.
  • Set and communicate objectives across various teams, including Finance, Operations, Support, and Business Partners.
  • Contribute effectively to the operational strategy, incorporating both financial and learning aspects.
  • Utilize available data and tools to analyze and develop strategic plans aimed at maintaining or enhancing performance.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Continuous Improvement.
  • Facilitate clear communication of processes and changes, ensuring teams are prepared for implementation.
  • Simplify complex information to create actionable plans.
  • Compose effective verbal and written communications, identifying suitable forums for each.
  • Coordinate top-down projects and site-level initiatives to ensure comprehensive implementation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for continuous improvement teams to coordinate the completion of network actions.
  • Validate and prioritize site-level continuous improvement projects, including resource coordination.
  • Train and enforce standards for change management and approval processes.
  • Lead biweekly meetings focused on change management and continuous improvement, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Document and share site-level continuous improvement successes with the network.
  • Establish tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure compliance and standardization across shifts.
  • Manage the ICQA and Learning departments through direct reports.
  • Develop AMs to effectively lead and execute ICQA operations.
  • Enhance AMs' abilities to analyze, report, and collaborate with operators to drive quality improvements.
  • Guide Learning AMs and Coordinators in planning and executing onboarding and training initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in quality control, data analysis, change management, and team leadership.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience in people management and development.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in managing operations with a focus on process improvements using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Background in logistics with prior experience in Learning, Inventory Control, and Quality Assurance management.
