Application Support Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to enhance our exceptional teams responsible for developing outstanding products and driving our expansion. This position will be based in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Engineering Services , the Software Engineer will act as a crucial liaison between clients and the IT department. The role involves documenting the occurrence and resolution of second-level support incidents, alongside the implementation and tracking of solutions for IT service failures within FCS Service configurations.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
Oversee and maintain IT applications in accordance with support standards, while suggesting new tools for improvement. Serve as the second-level escalation point for IT administrators and Global Helpdesk during application implementation tasks. Identify and troubleshoot application data quality concerns. Analyze problem causes and provide technical guidance to project teams for issue resolution. Manage projects related to tool deployment. Develop standard operating procedures for the ongoing maintenance of the Flex client infrastructure, ensuring that effective administrative tools and processes are in place to maintain system stability. Foster clear communication channels and establish proper feedback mechanisms with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams. Strive for minimal Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) while addressing issues; conduct thorough root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive measures to enhance Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). Recommend system upgrades and enhancements. Detect, investigate, and rectify program deficiencies. Provide software development support and consultation to potential users. Engage with and guide customer product development discussions and meetings.Desired Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience. Basic project management capabilities. Experience as a Systems Analyst and/or in support roles. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL for troubleshooting purposes. Familiarity with .NET technologies. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.Benefits Offered:
