Job Summary

We're seeking a Design Engineer to join our team at Micron. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products, such as row hammer mitigation circuits. You will collaborate with our design and verification teams worldwide and support the efforts of groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of new product opportunities by contributing to the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic IP.
  • Perform parasitic modeling, behavior modeling, and assist in design validation, reticle experiments, and required tape-out revisions.
  • Oversee and manage the layout process, including floor planning, placement, and routing.
  • Perform verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry-standard simulators.
  • Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success.

Requirements

  • BSEE or greater, 1+ years of related experience is preferred.
  • Productive and efficient time usage, leading to more effective work.
  • Satisfactory ability to convey or share ideas verbally or in written form.
  • Experience with a scripting language (Python, Perl, Verilog, UVM, etc).

  • Familiarity with memory design and digital design.
  • RTL design/verification experience is preferred. Familiarity with STA.
