Job Description

As a Digital Transformation Specialist Supply Chain at CEMEX, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities relating to researching, designing, and developing supply chain/logistics digital capabilities. The goal is to digitalize the supply chain/logistic processes across regions as part of CEMEX's digitalization strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define roadmap, budget, and Coordinate Supply Chain Development Product Owners and P&IT support network to align and maintain development according to CEMEX's digitalization objectives.
  • Ensure that development budget is properly invested during the Discovery Phase (research, planning, and strategy) to obtain an objective definition, a competitive analysis, and a clear MVP concept to develop.
  • Collect, refine, and maintain a well-defined backlog for CEMEX Global requirements in order to reduce development effort and simplify certification process, reducing reprocesses.
  • Maintain a vision of the process journey, and supply chain products lifecycle to define evolution, innovation, and business cases.

Decision making:

  • Lead a Supply Chain Product Management team: maintain development vision, backlog documentation (story mapping, epics, and user stories) and define evolution for supply chain capabilities.
  • Review the feedback strategy for CEMEX's Supply Chain process, including global and regional objectives.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Development organization to ensure requirements definitions and development prioritization.
  • Support monthly reporting and presentations detailing progress highlights.

Position Challenges

  • Balancing and prioritizing roadmap efforts according to company targets, obsolescence projects, and technical debt.
  • Improving Supply Chain maturity.
  • Engaging business to adopt new improvements or capabilities.
  • Business case monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Advanced English and Spanish.
  • Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer, Engineer, or related in Logistics & Supply Chain. Master's degree.
  • Areas of expertise 5+ years in practical experience in Logistics & Supply Chain and Product Management. 2 years general knowledge of Agile Methodology, Sprint Planning, and Scrum Team resources management. At least 2 years leading work teams. Deep understanding of Order Fulfillment process.
  • Technical Skills required by role. Advanced Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point. Jira Project Management Software Agile Certification Data analytics and SCOR are desirable.
  • Soft Skills People management, communication of ideas effectively in both oral and written form, ability to work effectively with others, workshops design.
