Regional Market Strategist for Latin American Expansion

At Uber, our mission is to revolutionize transportation and transform urban mobility. As a Regional Market Strategist for Latin American expansion, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our business in this dynamic region.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals and develop strategies that drive growth, improve user experience, and maintain market penetration. Your vision and leadership will help us expand our presence in the Caribbean market, enhance customer service, and build lasting loyalty with our users.
Your Responsibilities:
Market Leadership: You will spend time in your territory to understand local needs, meet with key partners, and ensure strong market connections. This includes building relationships with restaurant partners, guiding their development, and ensuring the highest quality service for Uber Eats users.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with Operations, Marketing, Policy, and other teams to roll out new processes and products. This requires effective communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Financial Acumen: You will take ownership of your market's financial results, ensuring alignment with Uber's goals in Mexico. This involves setting ambitious goals, making thoughtful financial decisions, and owning the P&L management for your region.
Process Improvement: You will help design and optimize processes to increase efficiency and fuel growth. This includes identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and implementing changes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience making data-driven decisions and using analytical thinking for sound business judgment. Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work effectively across different teams. Ability to take initiative and thrive in a dynamic environment. Willingness to connect with couriers and restaurant partners, ensuring on-the-ground success. A creative approach to solving operational challenges. Fluency in both Spanish and English.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
