Job Summary

As a Senior Backend PHP Developer at Sophilabs, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex backend services, handling data interchange between servers and users, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate jobs into applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient backend services using PHP.
  • Develop and maintain complex backend code, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend services into applications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
  • Develop and maintain efficient PHP modules, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement database solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain backend portals with optimized databases, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement data storage solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Requirements:
  • Fluency in PHP and strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and/or SASS.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Docker.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working on projects that require data integration.
  • Knowledge of GitHub and Scrum.
