Primary School Curriculum Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary School Curriculum Coordinator to join our team at the American School Foundation of Chiapas A.C.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development, implementation, and improvement, with experience leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the KG/Primary curriculum and educational standards.
• Differentiate instruction to address the diverse needs of students and ensure all learners reach their full potential.
• Incorporate educational technology tools and resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and promote a cohesive educational experience.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest educational research, trends, and pedagogical approaches.

About the Role:

This is a direct-to-school job, offering a unique opportunity to work in a bilingual and multicultural environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with national and international standards, while fostering a love of learning and promoting critical thinking skills.

The school offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 USD per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as major medical insurance, airport pick-up on first arrival, and housing at ASFC Staff Residences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB program
• Experience in curriculum development and implementation
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
