About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Nilfisk Group. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide level support onsite at our facility, as well as level support on onsite tickets, and escalate issues when applicable.
  • Onsite purchasing, configuration and maintenance for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, etc.
  • User creations/maintenance
  • Coordinate end-user support issues to ensure timely distribution of knowledge and incident resolution.
  • Make tasks ordered by the manager or specialist.
  • Manage incidents and service requests.
  • Acquire/maintain knowledge regarding Nilfisk, Inc. installed hardware and software applications.
  • Introduce and train new hires.
  • Assist with the documentation of IT Service Desk processes and procedures.
  • Provide other IT support functions as necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and able to communicate with foreign colleagues.
  • Excellent strong customer service skills. Ability to represent the department and the IT organization in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment across continents.
  • International experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of department policies and activities.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to follow-up on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Can work independently, proactive and work with events self-propelled.
  • Work well following instructions and procedures.
  • Strictly implement Group & Local IT Security Policies.
  • Strictly protect IT systems and data.
  • Manage onsite service requests for new PCs, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user IT and telecom equipment.
  • Install and configure PCs.
  • Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining.
  • Maintain assets list and correspondent physical assets for IT related hardware.
  • Provide end-users support for all agreed applications.
  • Communicate status updates on IT service breaks, service windows, etc. by using relevant media as Teams, intranet, mail, etc.
  • Manage Major incident including communication to Managers/end-users.
  • Fully comply with company health and safety rules in order to ensure the safety of yourself and others during the course of your work.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma
  • Min years PC/network troubleshooting experience with another company comparable to Nilfisk
  • Familiar with ticketing system
  • Familiar working in a production environment using IT knowledge
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 & Windows 11, Office, in local language and in English. MS Outlook, HP computer, VoIP, MS Exchange and Active Directory, etc.
  • Experience working with laptop and PC hardware
  • Experience working with infrastructure and network

Requirements:

Advanced English.
